If you have a lot of emotes you like to do on a regular basis, you might want to look at my addon, AddEmote. It helps you create your own /command emotes, like so:

/addemote chinrub rubs his chin.

You could then do /chinrub, and get:

Efindel rubs his chin.

But there's more! AddEmote comes packaged with ChatSubs, which gives you "substitution strings" you can use to automatically fill some things in. You could make the above:

/addemote chinrub rubs chin.

and "his" or "her" will automatically be filled in depending on your character's sex. You can also give alternatives, and AddEmote will figure out which make sense. For example:

/addemote eyeroll rolls eyes.|rolls eyes at .

If you have a target, this would use the second option, while if you don't, it will use the first.

Anyway... check it out. You might like it! It's up on Curse.

Well, it looks like PetEmote still conflicts with one of my other mods. At least Feed-O-Matic works. I love its emotes.

I agree completely with what you are talking about in this post. A lot of people overuse emotes so much that they even chat in /emote! Like you said, I simply ignore such a blatant disregard to a critical role-playing mechanic. Thank you for being a proper role-player. I only wish we were on the same server :p

Last time I tried PetEmote, it interfered with either Eloquence or RPHelper BC, I forget which. In any case, my bear remains mute as a result.

Maybe it's time to give it another try.
