I just got an update from Anna over at Too Many Annas! She and Spaceship Husband are safe but she can’t load her blog from there. She intends to stay where she is until the power is back on at home. Much <3 to the Anna!

• I am so very tired.
• If we could harness the energy of kittens, there would never be an energy shortage.
• After enough hours of working with hemp twine, you don’t notice the sore fingers as much.
• It finally rained.
• My boss should realize that naps make me more productive. Honest.
• I don’t need a fuzzy alarm clock to wake me 40 minutes before my regular alarm clock.
• I live in the country. Maybe a horse would be better transportation to work.
• I need pie.

Today I decided I wanted to share with others the story of my guild, Lost Virtue. We’re a fun bunch with some fantastic members and I wanted others to know about them and understand why I love them so much and why I work so hard to keep our guild a happy place. I also wanted to share some of what I do to keep it a happy place.

Over the years I’ve had a number of people sneer at the fact that Lost Virtue is such a small guild. I will not argue this point. It is very small. We’ve never had ideas of being large, of having 100+ members, having huge raids, all the highest end gear and what-have-you. We are the true definition of a casual guild.

• It’s hard to be creative and profound on too little sleep.
• There is still a kitten in my bathroom.
• Purple and green really do look good together.
• Bears should not eat bananas.
• If you leave your RP post open-ended, be ready for whatever insanity fate may bring your way.
• I wish it would rain. I mean real rain. Not just enough to make it muggy!
• The days are too short to get in all the RP I would like.
• Sleep is not a crutch.
• The clock is not moving nearly fast enough.
• When the guild has a sudden spurt in growth it kinda leaves one going, “Damn! Now what do I do?”
• Mmmm, pie.

Some of you may know that the last few weeks have been pretty rough IRL. I have been trying to work through some serious life issues while trying to keep the blog active enough to survive as well as keep half an eye on the RPA and keep my closest friends updated so they wouldn’t worry.

I had a great post idea today. Thoughtful, meaningful, entertaining. But I have learned that sufficient tooth pain can drive all thoughts of creativity right out of someone’s brain. I’ll try to provide that post after the dentist makes the pain go away.

Recently there was a shared topic thrown up on Blog Azeroth and I thought I would go ahead and jump in with my own. Sure, it’s a few days late, but it’s never too late for a good topic, right?

You may have noticed that I have not been active in my blog the last few days. I haven’t died, I’ve just been extremely busy at work and preparing for my vacation. I hope to get back into the swing of blogging after I return home on the 15th of June and recover from raiding Disneyworld.

I know there are still some readers out there. After all, I keep getting all those nice commenters that are trying to sell me products to make my penis bigger. So this is just a quick note to let you all know I will return after I have looted [Mickey Mouse Ears].

As you may know, I am primarily an Alliance player. I do have two characters Horde side, but only one of them has any significant levels. My main is Alliance, as are several other characters I play regularly. My guild is Alliance. Most of my friends are Alliance. Subsequently, I have few contacts on the Horde side of the fence.
