As I said in an earlier comment I’m not in game currently so I haven’t really had it in me to write or draw WoW. I’ve been doing some portrait and character artwork instead. Not very interesting for WoW players I’m sure.

I don’t know if I will be returning to WoW. Having been away from it this long now the only thing I miss is talking to my friends.

Life goes on I guess though.

Wow. 100 posts. To be honest, when I posted the first one on March 28th last year I never thought I’d make it this far. I found myself wondering “Who would read it? What do I have to say that anyone would find merit in?” And while it has been terribly sporadic at times, I’m still here. I actually do have readers! And not just my friends either. It’s all very surprising to me.

So now I wonder “What now?”. I know others that have set goals for the new year or upon reaching a milestone and I truly admire their ability to do such. My life, however, is so scattered, stressful and sporadic on its own that I really can’t set any goals for this blog and have any hope of keeping them.

Eventually I intend to add in some of my character stories under a section called Historical RP but truly, how much fiction can I inflict on the audience?

Then it occurred to me. I could ask the readers. If there is something you’re dying for me to post about, go ahead and leave it here. Have some constructive criticism? Drop me a note. I’ll read it. Want to write me a nasty letter? Sure! I’d love to tear you apart in a blog post. It would be very cathartic. Or if you even want to just tell me why you read or where you found me, I’d love to hear it.

Whether anyone replies or not, I do want to thank those that read. Writing without an audience isn’t much fun. You keep the words flowing and bring me a good time when the bad times seem bent on beating me down. Thank you.

  • The higher the stress, the lower the creativity.
  • Sparks coming out of the breaker box = very bad.
  • Four days without power = also very bad.
  • Two kittens are much more exciting than one.
  • Kittens should not have that much playful energy when the power is out.
  • My ear is NOT a pacifier for kittens.
  • Beef stew is the best meal to fix after four days of no heat.

Well I’m not exactly sure what a meme is, but it seems I’ve got one. Anna, over at Too Many Annas smacked me with it. The topic?

Who was the first person to leave a comment on your blog that is still blogging?

84 posts and 162 comments later it was……

Anna!! My very first comment by a blogger still blogging, and actually my very first comment ever! Read her comment HERE. Through my whole blogging experience (even though I’m not as dedicated to it as I should be and perhaps a little scattery in the way I post and what I post) she’s been a great supporter and really nifty friend. Many times her Dear… posts brought me the giggle I needed on a sour day or her informative posts gave me that little tidbit of info I was looking for. Sometimes she even gives me giggles over Gtalk while I’m slaving away at work. Thanks Anna. :)

So I guess I throw it out to someone else now?

So until yesterday I hadn’t posted in over a month. Yes, because of stress and other commitments sometimes the blog gets shoved aside for large stretches of time. I don’t expect that to change much. As a matter of fact, it may get worse.

I have decided to get back into art. I have always loved drawing and have had to repeatedly shove it aside to pay the bills. I’ve decided I’m tired of sacrificing what I love. I am going to get back into my art and bust my backside to turn it into something more.

Life still sucks. When you think things might be getting better something kicks you in the head to remind you that you are deluding yourself.

That being said, I haven’t been around much lately, in game or on the blog. Not likely that I will be. Things are going pretty awful right now.

I’ll see everyone if things ever improve.

No matter what they think…..

  • Once the mouse is caught and dead, kittens are no longer allowed to play with it.
  • Old cats tire out much faster than kittens and will eventually thump the kitten upside the head.
  • Bedtime is a time to sleep, not play blanket monster with mommy’s toes.
  • Pouncing on Lily will likely lead to great harm.
  • The path from the living room to the kitchen is not a racetrack for kittens.
  • The doorframes are not climbing poles for kittens.
  • The computer desk is not an appropriate bed for kittens.
  • The door is closed to keep kittens out because they are not allowed in that room.
