- I am so very tired.
- If we could harness the energy of kittens, there would never be an energy shortage.
- After enough hours of working with hemp twine, you don’t notice the sore fingers as much.
- It finally rained.
- My boss should realize that naps make me more productive. Honest.
- I don’t need a fuzzy alarm clock to wake me 40 minutes before my regular alarm clock.
- I live in the country. Maybe a horse would be better transportation to work.
- I need pie.
Archive for August, 2008Authors’ Note: Normally I don’t post twice in one day. However I had already posted Ask Catilda when I found this little gem. Since I will be doing RL home business stuff tomorrow it is unlikely I will remember to post and Monday just seems too far away sooooooo…. today you get a treat; TWO TDRP posts! Enjoy! (Because you never know when I’ll get around to posting again!) Anna over at Too Many Annas made a post in her blog reminiscent of the Friday Five but she did it RP style. Five basic questions to ask and answer about your character to help get you started on the path to role play. As always, I’m very supportive of anything that encourages role play and helps the new player get their introduction to it so I thought I would post the answers from Nauloera’s point of view here. I encourage you to visit Anna and read her post on it and perhaps write your own answers as well!

Today I decided I wanted to share with others the story of my guild, Lost Virtue. We’re a fun bunch with some fantastic members and I wanted others to know about them and understand why I love them so much and why I work so hard to keep our guild a happy place. I also wanted to share some of what I do to keep it a happy place. Over the years I’ve had a number of people sneer at the fact that Lost Virtue is such a small guild. I will not argue this point. It is very small. We’ve never had ideas of being large, of having 100+ members, having huge raids, all the highest end gear and what-have-you. We are the true definition of a casual guild. Merlinne stepped quietly into her suite of rooms in Lost Virtue manor.Tygger met her at the door, mewling and purring his demands for attention. She picked him up and cradled him on her shoulder, gently nuzzling his fur. She didn’t get to spend nearly enough time with him recently. She continued to stroke his soft orange fur as she made her way through the night darkened rooms to the sleeping chamber. Hugnir was already stretched out on the great darkwood bed, sleeping fitfully. She bit her lip and tears pricked her eyes as she looked at him. Yet another night she was unable to return to the suite they shared early enough to spend time with him. |
